Uncle Tim got himself a fishin' boat this year, and for Lochlyn's present he got her a little rod of her very own. We discussed the pros and cons of a whole family trip on the boat, and decided that just Lochlyn would go with the boys. We did not think that Kinsley would enjoy sitting on a boat while those three casted over and over, with nothing for her and I to do. Perhaps another day, we will all go and just have a little cruise, looking for a beach to roast wieners on.
Unfortunately, there were no fish to be had that day. Lochlyn told me that Uncle Tim did catch the anchor, though. The water was a little choppy, and Lochlyn thought it was hilarious to bounce over the waves. Too bad there are no pictures of Dad and Lochlyn, but here are some of the pictures that did get taken that day.
