Canada Day was pretty low-key for us this year. It fell in the middle of the week, and since Chris had to work the next day we decided to skip the fireworks. Remeber, this far North is doesn't get dark enough for fireworks this time of year until close to 11 pm. We did go to the parade, though, and then hung out a little at the beach taking in the sights.
