Barbecue at the Campsite

On Saturday we went out to visit "the campsite" again, as Lochlyn has come to call it. Shauna and her family invited us to come enjoy the campsite's barbecue and fireworks. Since the sun doesn't set until 10 pm, we weren't sure if the kids would make it all the way until the fireworks. Or if we would, for that matter. They did great, though, and we hung out in front of the fire, at the playground, and at the beach for about 8 hours until the fireworks finally went after 11. The kids were sound asleep before we got home (thankfully), and slept until about 9 the next morning. Lochlyn was utterly enchanted with the fireworks! She giggled and oohed and aaahed through the whole display. Kinsley was a little less sure. At first, she said "Wow!". After a few of the screaming loud ones, though, she said "No wow! No wow!"

We have a new camera, since I accidentally soaked the old one in water (oops!), and the new one doesn't have a fireworks setting like the old one did. I did manage to get a couple of ok pictures though.
